Every student in the middle school is provided with the opportunity of being a member of the school band if so inclined. We have good junior and senior bands. Our pupils take part annually in the Independence Day parade, as well as all school functions, public concerts and competitions.
We are indebted to, Mr. Stan Duff (of “SMAC” foundation Australia), the former Chief Engineer of Road Construction for the valuable contribution made towards equipping the students with high quality band instruments.
The music room is well equipped with pleasant sounding musical instruments and the children have the privilege of learning to play various instruments along with gaining some knowledge of the theory of music. A large variety of CDs containing popular selections from both old and modern songs are being used to give the pupils experience of good quality songs.
Our School has been able to form an Orchestra with guitars, thablas, violins and some other instruments. This helps pupils in music and gives them the opportunity to show their talents at various school functions. In the long run, it helps pupils acquire and appreciate human skills, talents and qualities.
Qualified teachers mould our children in aesthetic skills. As you step into our college, there are many “masterpieces” around welcoming you to feast your eyes. Students are encouraged to take part in public art competitions and they are motivated by arranging visits to galleries and museums through school or individually.
We provide our students with many opportunities to display their talents by drawing beautiful sceneries on the parapet wall inside and outside, in front of the school. This also provides a chance of revealing pupils’ moral values.
